Pakistan Cardiac Society Annual Conference2016is going to be held in Faisalabad, the 3rd largest cityandManchester of Pakistan.Once again, on behalf of Pakistan Cardiac Society and theProgramOrganizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite youto the“46th Annual Conference of Pakistan Cardiac Society, CARDIOCON-2016”, with the theme is “Global Heart Health in 21Century,Prevention to Treatments", scheduled from 25th - 27thNovember,2016 at Hotel Serena, Club Road Faisalabad, Pakistanorganizedjointly by Department of Cardiology, Punjab MedicalCollege/ AlliedHospital and Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology,Faisalabad underauspice of Pakistan Cardiac Society.Our endeavor is to provide a stimulating and enlighteningscientificprogram. The salient features of this program will beinteractiveworkshops in Focus Hall. Friday, 25th November, 1stSession willstart from ECG & Electrophysiology Workshopsfollowed by basicreview course on interventional cardiology andCardiac Imaging forresidents of Cardiology and youngCardiologists. 2nd day, sessionswill be comprising of liveinteractive workshop on InterventionalCardiology. In post lunchsessions there will also be live workshopon structural heartdisease followed Echocardiography comprehensivereview. 3rd day ofthe Conference will start from 2nd session onEchocardiography andthen Peads Cardiology Session followed by mynight mare casesession after lunch.In the Main Arena Hall, most of the talks will be problemsoriented/ scenario based on real life difficult to manage cases.“How Imanaged / How you will manage” instead of typical stereotypelecture presentation. Main sessions of Arena Hall will be onCardiometabolic, CV Risk Management, Hypertension and Heart Failureon1st day. On Saturday the focus will be on ASCVD & ACSpre-lunchand Hot Issues in Cardiology followed by hot controversiesinCardiology in post lunch session. On Sunday morning, there willbededicated session on Heart Disease in Women and guide linesessionfor Family Physicians & young Doctors.We sincerely hope that the blend of pleasant weather,warmhospitality and revitalizing social evenings will makethescientific environment richer.
